Christmastime Carolling

Hello all you jolly people. Get out your song books and join in to the carollers. I have hot chocolate and Baileys waiting for you when you are through. You CBs are great. Lovely voices. I hope I have successfully added a pretty picture to make you smile this Christmas. Sing out now and then we can enjoy a meet at the next blog. Merry Christmas to all.

Merry Christmas Scope.

O Holy Night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior's birth

Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Then he appeared and the soul felt his worth

A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder waits a new and glorious earth

Fall on your knees
Oh hear
The angel voices
Oh night devine
Oh night when Christ was born
Oh night deviiiine
Oh night oh night devine

Have a great Christmas with all your family

Merry Christmas, Scope! I'm too tired to follow the leader anymore, even if the leader is me* -- or whatever.

"Joy to the world, the Lord is come.
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart
Perpare him room
And heav'n and angels sing
And heav'n and angels sing
And heav'n and heav'n and angels sing."

Wishing you all the joy of the season, Scope! I'm so glad you joined us tonight. Sleep good.

The puppies are adorable, thanks for decorating for us! Sorry I'm dragging in a little late, so I'll sing a quiet one:

Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, the little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head,

The stars in the sky looked down where he lay, the little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay.

Merry Christmas, Scope!

Frosty the Snowman
Was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the Snowman
Is a fairytale they say
He was made of snow
But the children know
How he came to life one day

There must have been some magic
In that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around

Frosty the Snowman
Was alive as he could be
And the children say
He could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me

Frosty the Snowman
Knew the sun was hot that day
So he said let's run
And we'll have some fun
Now before I melt away

Down to the village
With a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Saying catch me if you can

He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler stop

Frosty the Snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye
Saying don't you cry
I'll be back again some day

Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow

Penny, thanks for the Christmas card and the carolling! My computer crashed the other night (I think at McB's site) and I have not had access to a computer since then. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and take care of yourself.

Fa la la la la la!

Merry Christmas Scope!

Oh good, there's some hot chocolate left. I know it's late, but I have the perfect Christmas song to sing.
(I tried to sing it on CMS's blog, but blogger got mean. Let's see if I have better luck here.)

On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me,

Five GO-OLD rings!
Four calling birds
Three French hens
Two turtle doves
and a partridge in a pear tree!

Hmmmn, that hot chocolate is delicious, thank you. Oooh, I see a spring of mistletoe. Now all I have to do is kidnap Gerard Butler from under CMS's Christmas tree, and I'll be all set for a long winter's night... ;)

Oh, Scope that is an adorable photo! Are they your puppies? Cause that's a lot of puppies! A lot of fun & unconditional love.

I don't know any Happy New Year songs. Wait, isn't there a verse of We Wish You A Merry Christmas that says We Wish You a Happy New Year? Well, there should be!

I enjoy you so much and always appreciate it when you are able to stop at the B&G.
